Josh is a superhero, according to Camp Quality staff. His greatest power? The way he transformed his life.

At just 2 years old, Josh was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia after a routine checkup for a mild fever. Chemotherapy began the very next day. During his treatment, a nurse told him about Camp Quality, but Josh wasn’t interested. and refused to leave home.

Instead, his sisters, Emily and Laura, went to camp. Camp Quality welcomes siblings, knowing they need support too. Emily and Laura loved it and spent years urging Josh to join them. Finally, in 2024, at age 8, Josh agreed to attend.

Once at camp, Josh threw himself into everything—swimming, running, crafts, climbing, and singing. But the best part? After years of feeling alone, Josh found true friends. He went from feeling isolated to becoming the heart of camp activities. Now, that’s a real transformation!
