Seth was diagnosed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia the day after Christmas at age 4. He has endured surgeries, chemotherapy, two bone marrow transplants, and four relapses. Despite all the setbacks, Seth and his family have not given up, pursued new treatments and are determined to keep fighting for Seth’s life despite relentless setbacks.
At Camp Quality, Seth has discovered newfound confidence and joy. Initially scared of the zipline, he tried it after encouragement, and now it’s his favorite. He also looks forward to silent discos, crafts, and singing the CQ song around the campfire—a moment that’s emotional for him. Camp has taught him independence and self-care, which he missed while hospitalized. His mom finds comfort knowing the camp nurses are there to take care of his complicated medical needs. She says, “He loves camp so much and never wants to come home.”
Currently, Seth is in remission, living each day to the fullest. Though he faces ongoing health challenges, he doesn’t let them stop him from enjoying life. His family shares this resilience, cherishing each moment together while preparing for any future setbacks. They remain deeply grateful that Seth is still with them.
