We are excited for our second annual Quality Awards to be presented at CQUSA Connect 2024 (AKA National Meeting) in Kansas City in October.  Please submit a separate form for each category nomination.  There is no limit on the number of nominations. The nominations will be reviewed by a group of your peers and the CQUSA Support Team.  Nominations and supporting materials are due by Friday, September 27.  More information.

By Air:  Fly into Kansas City International Airport (MCI).  Please book departing flights after 1 PM.

Airport to Hotel: Use Uber or Lyft.  There is NOT an airport shuttle to the Sheraton Hotel.

Parking at Hotel: Garage Self-Parking $25 / Valet $35.

Getting around Kansas City: Use the KC Streetcar.  It’s free and will take you from Union Station (near the Sheraton Hotel) to River Market with stops along the way. Jump on!

Walk to: Union Station, Crown Center, National WWI Museum & Memorial, SeaLife KC, LegoLand, and restaurants in the Crossroads District.

• Thursday Dinner (Optional): For those who are arriving on Thursday, we’ll have suggested restaurants for group dining.
• Friday Morning and Afternoon:
  • Unification Taskforce Groups A & B Meeting 9 AM – 4 PM
  • De-escalation Training Part 1: Noon to 4 PM (Part 2: Saturday 1:30 – 5PM)
  • Explore Kansas City along the KC StreetCar route with a scavenger hunt.  We’ll form groups to start multiple times throughout the day.
• Friday Dinner 6 PM: National Meeting Kick-off with Happy Hour and Dinner at the Sheraton Hotel starting at 6:00 PM
• Saturday All-day: National Meeting starts with breakfast at 8 AM in Sheraton Hotel
  • CQUSA Board Meeting: 1:30 PM
• Sunday Morning: Breakfast at 8 AM and National Meeting  9 – 11 AM. Please book flights to depart after 1 PM.
